2011 Haunt Approaches.

The 2011 Haunt Is Coming.

I decided to take a break from the maelstrom of haunt plans and creations to drop a little note on here.

We have been working at an almost feverish pace to get this year’s haunt ready to go.

The ever present rebuttal to this is, “You’re only doing this thing for one night. It seems like a lot of work for one night.”

But it is worth it.

We have succeeded at going beyond what we did last year. We added more rooms and actors, totally revamped our effects and lighting as well as came up with a cohesive story experience instead of random scenes of horror.

This year, we decided on the Sunnyvale Sanitarium theme for our haunt. The visitors walk the halls of the insane, coming face to face with the demented and delusional. We are very excited to bring this haunt to you for the 2011 Halloween season.

Sadly, with our group still in it’s infancy, it is still a backyard haunt and so it is only for one night.

We hope the turn out from this year will justify extending the haunt nights to more next season, as well as finding a permanent home for the Psycho Asylum and our haunts.
